I’m going to a baby shower in November so I figured I should probably start on a baby quilt. I had planned on making a blue, gray, and pink one because I had a charm pack, so I just left out the blue since this baby is a girl.
For a small quilt, this requires a lot of HSTs.
And a lot of trimming…
I had the HSTs together into rows and now I just need to put the rows together. In order to make it big enough, I’m going to put a solid strip of Kona Bone between each chevron row. I also think I will be adding Kona Bone borders. I’m backing it with a light pink fleece. What do you think about quilting fleece? I’ve never done it and I’m a little wary. I’m not going to bind the quilt since that would be difficult with fleece, but I do want to turn it and quilt it. Any tips would be appreciated.

You could bind it with satin binding, babies love satin binding. Just a thought
