Chevron Inspired Bag

This last weekend, I visited Sew Country in Belleville, KS, with my mom. I go every time I’m in Belleville because I LOVE fat quarters and this shop has zillions of them. Hell, it has zillions of bolts of fabric. It’s basically amazing. And the people are fabulous.

Anyway, I saw that chevron fabric.

Bag Fabric

I was in love and I knew I wanted to make a bag like my mom and Debbie made with it. My aunt Cathy has also made one of these bags, too. I had to have one! So, I had to find three other fat quarters and a lining  – and that’s what I came up with.

Chevron Bag

Cute, right? I originally wanted the pink as the bottom, but that wasn’t working out well. I still love it anyway. It’s super bright and colorful, which is just my style.

Chevron Bag Handles

I got to sew this bag on my mom’s Janome Horizon, which is probably what sewing in heaven would be like.

I’m going to use this bag for everything!
