I really liked the chevron quilt that Jenny from Missouri Star made. It’s just half square triangles. And I really enjoyed piecing my HST quilt. I’ve had some charm packs on hand for quite awhile that I wanted to do something with. Chevron quilts are the perfect project! The chevron will be tiny, but I like that.
Those are the charm squares for the first chevron quilt. I’m going to pair them with creams. My mom sent me a Muslin Mates charm pack that he had in her stash. I’m thinking about using it. If not, I have some Kona Bone on hand, but I’m not sure if it will be enough. I’ll probably keep that quilt on hand for when somebody I know has a baby.
I bought this Summersville charm pack on my last visit to Missouri Star. I’m pairing these charms with Kona Papaya for a chevron quilt. It could end up being a baby quilt, too. Or not. We’ll see how much I like it when I’m finished.
My mom and I both had a charm pack from this line. She sent me hers and I’m planning on pairing it with Kona Ash for a chevron quilt. I owe my mom some fabric because she keeps sending me charm packs.
That’s a lot of chevron quilts, but I know they are going to be so easy and so cute! I have some other projects I’m going to finish up before I start on these, but I think they’ll keep me busy for quite awhile. And mostly everything for these projects is coming out of my stash!
