I’ve started yet another top. But it’s one I’ve been meaning to start for quite awhile.
My mom gave me a Simply Color layer cake for my birthday and I pretty much knew right away that I wanted to make a churn dash quilt. I was going to use something other than white since I always use white, but then I thought about it and I went with white. Why? Because I use it all of the time and it ALWAYS looks great.
I got pretty far. I have all of the “parts” of the blocks sewn together and few blocks completed. I need to do a bunch more trimming and cut some more white squares. There were a few duplicate layer cake squares and I’m thinking of using them to make some reverse churn dash blocks to mix it up a bit.
