I’ve finished my Covert Robin swap item. I’ve really enjoyed making this item. A lot of the work is extremely tedious, but sometimes I really need that. Of course, I totally messed up and sewed the strips together right sides together so I ended up having to turn ever single strip when I could have just sewn them wrong sides together and moved the seam to the center. Ha! I definitely created at least two hours of extra work for myself. I really didn’t mind though. Like I said…sometimes I enjoy tedious tasks.
Netflix recently put up a lot of seasons (if not all?) of Saved by the Bell on instant watch. I made it through 10 episodes in one night at least six in another night. Yes, that’s over seven hours of sewing and Saved by the Bell.
The pattern is from Keiko Clark of K Cotton Studios. I pulled every single fabric from my stash, which was super easy thanks to my new organizing method. I love the colors even though they are not what I typically prefer.
I sent the item and a couple of extra goodies in the mail off to my swap partner.
Stay tuned for the big reveal (ha!) of this item at the beginning of April when the swap is complete!
