I can check another item off of my list. I completed the quilting last week and finished the binding last night while watching the Oscars at a Mia‘s place.
I put the border on during Sewing Sunday after I had finished the potholders. The ladies suggested the echo quilting for the center and the grid quilting for the border. I always have a hard time deciding on quilting, so it was nice to have some input. And their suggestions were stellar. I LOVE how it turned out.
I apologize for the creases. I failed to iron it and probably never will since it’s going to hang in my sewing room.
That’s the back. I just used a fat quarter that I have purchased from JoAnn Fabrics. The binding was a Moda Marble jelly roll strip, which is my favorite use for solid/almost solid jelly rolls.
This is probably one of my favorite projects ever because it is so girly and adorable.
