You should be jealous of me. Why? Because I have an amazing family. I’m really glad I got to see all of my family for my sister’s wedding. They’re amazing even when they don’t bring me presents. I certainly don’t expect presents and I was very surprised. I was excited just to see everybody. I’m bad about staying in touch (but who isnt’t?) so I don’t even see my family who lives close very often. It was great seeing everybody and it made me really happy. They make me really happy. My family really cares about each other and I know that they would do anything for me and I would do anything for them. They’ve done a lot for me. I can’t count the number of times I’ve relied on them in one way or another.
Ok…enough sappiness. You get the point. I love my family and they rock.
I’m not going to lie…I was pretty freaking happy when I saw what my aunt Cindy and uncle Donald brought me.
FABRIC! FROM THE INTREPID THREAD! AND THEY WENT TO THE ACTUAL STORE! AND MY AUNT KNOWS SOMEBODY WHO WORKS THERE!
But wait…wait until you see what they picked out for me.
BAM! Tsuru by Rashida Coleman-Hale for Cloud 9. So pretty!
And it’s organic…which means it feels like butter. So soft!
The lace peacocks are one of my favorite prints.
I also really like the feathers…especially in this color way. I LOVE yellow and turquoise together.
I’m also a pretty big fan of this print and the colors.
I have no idea what I’ll make with these, but I don’t think I’ll break them up. I’ll find some pattern to showcase them, but I think I’ll hold on to them for awhile just so I can pet them and look at them. Haha. Only other fabric junkies understand that weirdness.
But that’s not all…
Honeycombs! One is solid gray and the other is Happy Go Lucky by Bonnie and Camille. I really like Happy Go Lucky. It was sort of on my radar because I really like pretty much everything by Camille Rosekelly, but I hadn’t seen the line in person. When I was flipping through the honeycomb, I kind of fell in love with a bunch of the prints in that line. Go Google that line. Very pretty.
And one last thing…
These have been sitting in my Amazon cart waiting for me to finally bite the bullet and buy them. I’m not sure how they knew I wanted/needed them. I can’t wait to try them out.
Aunt Cindy and Uncle Donald – THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BRINGING ME BEAUTIFUL FABRIC PRESENTS EVEN WHEN YOU SHOULDN’T BE BRINGING ME STUFF!!!!
My family – THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING MY AWESOME FAMILY!
