I haven’t purchased any fabric in a while due to budgeting for hospital bills, taxes, etc. Now that all of that is over, I finally bought some!
These flour sack tea towels are going to be turned into aprons using Missouri Star’s apron tutorial. One of my best friends brought me an apron from Italy. It has ruffles and is yellow with lemons all over it. Andrew looks a little silly in it. It’s time we both had new aprons so the Italy apron can retire.
I was at Bon Bon and I couldn’t resister their AWESOME selection of shot cottons and voiles. They don’t have a lot of bolts, but I pretty much like everything in there. I think I get more overwhelmed in there than in a huge fabric shop because I want everything. In a huge fabric shop, I only want about half of the bolts. There are usually only one or two at Bon Bon that I don’t particularly like.
The two on the left are voiles. The blue is a linen and the one on the far right is a shot cotton. I don’t have any projects in mind for these. They are just to build my stash.
