While roaming around Pinterest the other day, I stumbled upon a standing iPhone case tutorial from Made by Marzipan. I love little projects that I can complete in an evening. This one is perfect.
I am definitely glad she had the video. I mostly followed the written directions, but if I needed clarification, I found the spot in the video that showed the step.
I didn’t have snaps and I haven’t been to the store to get any yet, but I eventually want to put the snaps on. However, if you want to leave them off, the stand was still very sturdy without the snaps.
Honestly, I probably won’t use this case. I have a sweet iPhone case I made and love. Still, it was a fun and fast project.
I apologize for the poor photo quality. I had to take these pictures with the iPad since my iPhone was modeling. I was too lazy to jump up and grab Andrew’s iPhone or his iPod touch.
The best thing about the tutorial is she gives instructions on how to size the case for other devices. Therefore, if you wanted to make one of these case stands for the iPad, it would be really easy. I actually might have to give that a shot…
