It’s Mary Kay’s turn for a block this month for the KC Scrappy Bee. I’m on the ball this month and completed hers really quickly. I’m sure that the quick completion is partly because she also is using the wonky cross block.
She provided me with the black fabric and asked the group to add a solid. I chose neons. I like that she made the blocks rectangular instead of square like mine. I didn’t trim these. I’m going to leave that to her so she can decide the exactly placement of the crosses.
I can’t wait to start seeing some of these finished quilts!

Wow, that quilt is going to be fun too. So many ways to do a cross quilt. On a different topic, I made my very first bag all by myself. I did great except I attached the handles on the wrong side so when I sewed in the lining, the handles were inside. But I used my handy seam ripper and fixed it. And I won’t ever do that again. 🙂

I’m with you, Lesley. I always have a seam ripper handy. My motto is if it is worth doing, it’s worth doing correctly.
