In the process of making some of my quilt tops, I’ve acquired quite a few matching scraps.
I used almost every single scrap from the Prince Charming herringbone quilt to make a long body pillow. I probably won’t be able to find a form that fits, so I’ll have to make my own. I LOVE Tula Pink’s Prince Charming line and I’m glad that I hardly wasted any of the fabric.
There was even leftover backing fabric from the quilt to use on the pillow.
Here’s another sneak peak at the KCMQG Mirror Ball Dots challenge. These two chevrons were extra blocks and make the perfect small pillows.
Again, I even had enough extra for the pillow backs.
I love imagining the finished quilts on the beds with these pillows as accents. It kind of makes me wish I had a house with a ton of bedrooms so I could just decorate and redecorate beds. Then I remember that I would have to clean that house and my wish fades. Haha.
