Remember my Chevron Pin Cushions? Well, I used one of them for the pincushion swap that the Modern Quilt Guild did. I have no idea where my pincushion ended up, but I received one from a member of the Bay Area Modern Quilt Guild. Want to know something interesting? I’ve actually been to one of the Bay Area’s meetings. When I was visiting my aunt and uncle in San Jose, I was there the week they had a meeting so I stopped by. I briefly mention it in my California Quilt Shop Review post.
I think it’s very very cute.
And I really love the fabric on the back. I’m a sucker for paisley.
Cynthia Marshall made this. Thanks, Cynthia!!!
The pincushion is stuffed with walnut shells and silica. I’ve never had a pincushion stuffed with walnut shells so I’m very excited to see how it compares to my other pincushions.
These swaps are so much fun and I’m very glad that I participated.
